CHC- Limited (Micro Finance Institution), formerly known as Cambodian Health Committee Credit Program was a credit program of Cambodian Health Committee (“CHC”), an NGO established in March 1994 in response to the public health problems especially tuberculosis (“TB”) among rural poor in Svay Rieng province. In October 1994, CHC began implementing rural credit program known as Cambodian Health Committee Credit Program as part of an effort to reduce TB prevalence by reducing poverty.
The Company is engaged in the provision of micro financing activities in three branches located in Phnom Penh, Kepcity and Kampot province. |

The mission and vision of CHC-Limited (Micro Finance Institution) is to improving people's living condition that they can borrow money to expansion or creation their business and finding an other financial source for CHC-Limited through these services , associating to develop national economy by promoting rural investment in a small size for reproduces other services and products in rural areas, and creating emploment for developing family economy as well as social economy to mitigate government's duties.

standard of living and being a part of National Economic Development by urging the small scale investment to produce products and sevices for economic activities and/or rural communities and urban areas to build the family economy.
To ensure the prosperity, success and sustainablility, you can ask for loans from CHC-Limited (MFI) or enlarge your businesses.Moreover, you can access to Health Services from the Health Program of CHC None Government Organization (NGO) if you are the rural people that are infected by Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS in the operation areas of CHC, regardless of racism, religion, and political trend. |

The registered capital of the Institution is US$600,000 (Six hundred-thousand United States dollars) divided into 60,000 shares which each share has a face value of US$10 (ten US dollars). The major shareholding entities of the Institution are CHC-NGO ( www. ), CARD-NGO ( www.cardbank.com ) and CMI Holding International ( www.catalyst-microfinance.com ) and the composition of individual shareholders included Dr. Jaime Aristle B Alip, Dr. Chiv Bunthy, Dr. Sok Thim and Mr. King Kap Kalyan.

Dr. Sok Thom, Cambodian, was appointed as Chairman of BODs since 2005 and presently he is the Research Program Director for CHC NGO. Dr. Sok Thim is equipped with twenty five-year extensive experiences in the sector of public health and development. He holds a variety of positions for international NGOs and United Nations such as TB Coordinator, Program Manager, etc. He is the co-founder of Cambodian Health Committee (NGO) known as CHC NGO. Born in Battambang, Cambodia, Sok Thim entered the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Phnom Penh in 1973. Unfortunately, his education was cut short by war and he was forced to leave the university after two years when the Khmer Rouge took over Cambodia in April 1975.

Sok Thim fled Cambodia for the Thai-Cambodian border in 1981 and began to work and study with the American Refugee Committee (ARC) where he became first a nurse, then health worker and then manager of the ARC TB Program before becoming the TB coordinator for all of the refugee camps on the Thai-Cambodian border. Sok Thim received his M.D. from the International University of Phnom Penh in 2006. He is the principle investigator of the CIPRA grant from the NIH and is a coordinating investigator of the CAMELIA study. |

Dr. Chiv Bunthy, Cambodian, was appointed as BOD member since 2005 and presently he is the Executive Director for CHC NGO. Dr. Bunthy has extensive experiences in rural credit and public health management. He is proven with strong leadership and managerial skills. Before joining CHC NGO as the Executive Director, Dr. Bunthy holds various positions such as Lab/TB Program Supervisor, Assistant to Executive Director and so on. Having begun his work in 1989 as a physician at the Green Hill Medical Center hospital at the Site-B camp on the Thai-Cambodia border, Bunthy later received his diploma in TB control and epidemiology from the Research Institute of TB from Japan/WHO.

With various NGOs such as CRS, MSF-H, Health Unlimited, and MEDICAM, he has more than 16 years of experience working as the project directors of TB, HIV/AIDS and reproductive health projects. In 2005, he earned his Master's Degree in Public Health from the International University of Phnom Penh. He is also a member of Japan's Anti-Tuberculosis Association and of GLOBALINK - The International Tobacco Control Community. He has served as the executive director of CHC since the year 2000 and has overseen the expansion and growth of CHC's programs and administration since that time. |

Mr. King Kap Kalyan, Cambodian, was appointed as BOD member in 2006 and presently he is the General Manager of CHC-Limited (MFI). He has fourteen-years of experiences in the sector of Banking and Microfinance. From 1993 to 2002, he was the supervisor in the Bank Supervision Department for the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and from 2003 to 2004, he was the Credit Program Director for CHC NGO. In term of education, Mr. Kalyan is quipped with Diploma in Banking, Bachelor of Economics, MBA, and Master in Organizational Development (specialized in Microfinance, Philippine).

Dr. Jaime Aristotle B.Alip, Philippino, was appointed as BOD member since 2005 and presently he is the Chairman and CARD MRI Managing Director. He has approximately twenty nine-year experiences with financial sector focused on microfinance, micro insurance and rural development. Dr. Alip holds various positions such as Senior Manager for Philippine Business for Social progress (PBSP), Deputy Executive Director for ACPC, Credit Supervisor for CIDSE Vietnam, Assistant Secretary for government of the Philippine, and Southeast Asia Credit Advisor for Oxfam America .

Md. Shafiqual Haque Choudhury, Bangladeshi, was appointed as BOD member in 2007 and presently he is the President and Founder of ASA (Association for Social Advancement)-Bangladesh, ASA is known as a world leading MFI and its microfinance model "ASA model" is well reputable and being adopted by many MFIs in the world. He is also the Board member and Director of CMI (Catalyst Microfinance Investors). Md. Shafiqual has many year-experiences in the field of Microfinance. In term of education, Md. Shafiqual is equipped with Master of Arts in Sociology ( Bangladesh ).
